Consumer Terms of Sale
Last updated: 16 August 2026
These terms apply when you buy from SortaHub as a consumer — checking out directly at catalogue prices for personal, family, or household use. Purchases made through a wholesale quote, or for business purposes, are governed by our B2B Terms of Sale instead.
語言聲明。 Translations of this website and of invoices, offers, and related documents are provided for convenience only and may not be complete or accurate. If there is any conflict, discrepancy, ambiguity, or other translation issue, the English version on the SortaHub website and on the invoice controls and prevails. 英文版本.
1. Your order and our acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we issue your invoice, and we confirm the full agreement — the items, prices, taxes, shipping, and delivery estimate — by email with the invoice attached, so you have a copy you can keep.
2. Pricing and pricing errors
Prices are in Canadian dollars unless shown otherwise. Where a listed price is an obvious error, we may cancel the affected order before shipment and refund you in full; we will tell you promptly and offer the correct price.
3. Payment
Payment is due at checkout by the methods offered (card via Stripe, Interac e-Transfer, or EFT). Your order ships after payment settles.
4. Delivery
We show a delivery estimate on your invoice. If your order is not delivered within 30 days of the stated delivery date, Ontario's Consumer Protection Act lets you cancel the order and receive a full refund — contact us and we will process it. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
5. Returns, refunds, and recalls
Returns are governed by our Return & Refund Policy — wrong, defective, and damaged items are always put right at no cost. Product safety recalls are handled per our Product Recalls & Safety page, at no cost and regardless of normal return rules.
6. Your statutory rights are not limited
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights you have under mandatory law, including the deemed conditions and warranties of Ontario's Consumer Protection Act and Sale of Goods Act (goods of merchantable quality, fit for purpose, matching their description). For customers in the United States, state consumer-protection laws and the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act apply to any written warranty; where these terms conflict with a law that protects you, the law prevails.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by the laws above, our liability for a consumer order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are always liable where the law says we must be — nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
If something is wrong, contact us first — most problems are fixed faster through our returns process than through a card dispute. You always retain the right to dispute a charge with your card issuer.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and applicable Canadian federal law. If you live elsewhere, this does not displace consumer protections that your local law grants you and that apply regardless of the chosen law.
