Invoice Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 26 July 2026
These Invoice Terms apply to every invoice SortaHub issues. They form part of our Terms & Conditions and, for business customers, our B2B Terms of Sale.
1. Invoice contents
Each invoice shows a unique invoice number, the issue date and due date, the itemised goods, any discount, shipping, and applicable taxes, the currency, and the total and any deposit or balance due. Amounts are in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise.
2. Due date & payment
Payment is due by the due date shown on the invoice. Unless credit terms apply, invoices are payable on receipt / before dispatch. Accepted methods (Stripe card, EFT, Interac e-Transfer) and any payment instructions are shown on the invoice; see our Payment Terms.
3. Deposits & balances
Where an invoice requires a deposit, the deposit is due as stated and the balance by the balance due date. Goods may not be dispatched until the required amount is received. Partial payments are applied to the invoice and the outstanding balance remains payable.
4. Taxes
Applicable taxes (such as GST/HST) are calculated and shown on the invoice at the rate in effect. The Customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes on international shipments unless stated otherwise.
5. Currency
Invoices are issued and payable in CAD unless expressly agreed otherwise. Any currency conversion or bank charges applied by your payment provider are your responsibility.
6. Disputes
If you believe an invoice contains an error, contact us within a reasonable time (for example 7 days of the invoice date) with details. Undisputed amounts remain due by the due date.
7. Late payment
Overdue invoices may accrue interest at the rate stated on the invoice (or a reasonable commercial rate if none) and reasonable collection costs. SortaHub may suspend or cancel pending orders and, for credit accounts, apply the B2B Credit Account Terms.
8. Receipts & records
A receipt or confirmation is issued when payment is recorded. Please retain invoices and receipts for your records; we retain transaction records as required by law.
