These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SortaHub website and your purchase of products from SortaHub ("SortaHub", "we", "us"). By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. SortaHub operates from Ontario, Canada. Business customers should also review our B2B Terms of Sale.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use our services. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate, current information and keep it up to date.
2. Products, quotes & pricing
- Product descriptions, images, and availability are provided in good faith but may contain errors and can change without notice.
- Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise, and are exclusive of applicable taxes and shipping unless indicated.
- Some purchases proceed via a quote: you request a quote, we send an offer with agreed prices, taxes, and any shipping, and the order is confirmed only when you accept the offer / we issue an invoice.
- We may correct pricing or description errors and decline or cancel an order affected by an obvious error, even after an order is placed.
3. Orders & acceptance
Your order or acceptance of an offer is an offer to purchase. A contract forms when we confirm the order or issue an invoice. We may refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, unavailability, or pricing error; if we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount paid.
4. Payment
We accept payment by Stripe (card), EFT/bank transfer, and Interac e-Transfer, as offered at checkout or on your invoice. Details are set out in our Payment Terms and, for invoiced orders, our Invoice Terms & Conditions.
5. Shipping, returns & refunds
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns/refunds by our Return & Refund Policy, both of which form part of these Terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the website — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, disrupting the service, scraping at scale, infringing intellectual property, or using the site for unlawful purposes.
7. Intellectual property
The website and its content (branding, text, graphics, and layout) are owned by or licensed to SortaHub and protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit our content without permission, except as necessary to use the site normally.
8. Disclaimers & liability
Our website and products are provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law; see our Website Disclaimer. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act for consumer purchases). Subject to that, our total liability arising from an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the products giving rise to the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect is the one posted here when you place your order.
